9-7-20 nobody injured in linden street fire in fdl

Nobody was injured in a fire at a Fond du Lac residence.   Late Friday afternoon Firefighters were called to a report of a kitchen fire at 315 Linden Street.   The fire was quickly extinguished, contained to the kitchen area and caused moderate smoke damage throughout the residence.  The occupant was not home at the time.   The cause of the fire is under investigation.

9-7-20 covid-19 deaths at 12 in fdl county

Two more  deaths have been reported in Fond du Lac County due to COVID-19.    Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says both individuals were females, one 60 years old and the other 85. There are now 12 deaths in the county since the pandemic started.   There were 23 new cases, bringing to 1,242, the total number of cases in the county.     T here are 317 active cases and ten people […]

9-7-20 covid drive-thru testing results

The Fond du Lac Public Health Department says 51 people tested positive for COVID-19  during drive-thru testing last month at the Fond du Lac County Highway garage.  With assistance from the Wisconsin National Guard nearly  1600  people got tested last Friday and Saturday.    Meanwhile, since the start of the pandemic last spring, Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says there have been just over 12 hundred cases with a total of […]
