9-3-20 former fdl state representative john dobyns dies

Former state representative and Fond du Lac city council president John Dobyns has died.   Dobyns died August 28 after a long battle with liver disease.  He was 76.  Dobyns  was a retired Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s detective when he was first elected to the Fond du Lac city council in 1990.  He resigned his seat on council in 1993 to run for the state Assembly.   He was a graduate of St. Mary’s Springs Academy […]
