OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) — Two of Wisconsin’s biggest annual music festivals are shutting down for good following COVID-related cancellations this summer. 10-22-20 two more covid-19 deaths reported in fdl county

Fond du Lac County has reported two more COVID-19 deaths.  There are now 19 deaths in Fond du Lac County due to the virus.   Since Friday afternoon there have been nearly 400 positive COVID-19 cases bringing to  nearly 3,800, the total number of positive cases in the county.

10-21-20 fire in wood burning stove causes minor damage

Minor damage reported in a fire at a town of Friendship residence. The fire at  the Michael Castellanos residence on Lakeshore Drive Tuesday night started when the exhaust pipe from a wood burning stove overheated causing smoke to build up inside the residence.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Wisconsin Department of Health Services’ secretary is warning people to scrap any plans for Thanksgiving gatherings as COVID-19 surges across the state. 10-21-20 new covid-19 dashboard updates

The Fond du Lac  County Public Health Officer says computer system upgrades should help improve response to the coronavirus pandemic.   The Wisconsin Department of Health Services upgraded it’s Wisconsin Electronic Disease Surveillance System over the weekend.  Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says the system is used to collect and monitor  data on testing, contact tracing and other metrics.  Mueller says there are no changes to how patients are notified if they test […]
