OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) — Two of Wisconsin’s biggest annual music festivals are shutting down for good following COVID-related cancellations this summer. Fond du Lac County has reported two more COVID-19 deaths.  There are now 19 deaths in Fond du Lac County due to the virus.   Since Friday afternoon there have been nearly 400 positive COVID-19 cases bringing to  nearly 3,800, the total number of positive cases in the county.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Wisconsin Department of Health Services’ secretary is warning people to scrap any plans for Thanksgiving gatherings as COVID-19 surges across the state. The Fond du Lac  County Public Health Officer says computer system upgrades should help improve response to the coronavirus pandemic.   The Wisconsin Department of Health Services upgraded it’s Wisconsin Electronic Disease Surveillance System over the weekend.  Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says the system is used to collect and monitor  data on testing, contact tracing and other metrics.  Mueller says there are no changes to how patients are notified if they test […]
