(AP) — Wisconsin’s unemployment rate dropped from 6.3% in August to 5.4% in September, below the national rate but 2 points higher than a year ago as the state deals with a surge in coronavirus cases. 10-16-20 beaver dam man sentenced to prison for head butting police officer

A Beaver Dam man convicted of head-butting a police officer is going to prison.   Dodge County Circuit judge Martin DeVries sentenced 27 year old Jessie Garcia  3 1/2 years in prison and eight years extended supervision for two counts of  battery or threat to an officer and resisting an officer causing substantial bodily harm.  The defendant will also spend 8 years on supervision following the prison sentence.  According to a criminal complaint Garcia was arrested […]
