The Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer is telling people not to go to the hospital emergency room to get a COVID-19 test.  Kim Mueller says with COVID testing demand increasing, many people are showing up or calling emergency department to get a test.   Mueller says emergency departments are not set up as locations for community testing.  Mueller says people experiencing COVID-19 symptoms should call their doctor or the COVID-19 clinic.  […]

The executive director of the Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership is encouraging residents to support local businesses with a new emergency order in place as COVID-19 cases continue to rise.  Amy Hansen says the governor’s emergency order didn’t come as a surprise.  Hansen says the governor’s announcement of a second round of grants to help small businesses and communities hit hard by the pandemic was welcome news.
