MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin's governor has announced a field hospital at the state fairgrounds will open next week as a surge in COVID-19 cases threatens to overwhelm hospitals. 10-8-20 butler wisconsin man sentenced to prison in fatal dodge county crash

A Butler, Wisconsin man has been sentenced to prison in connection with a fatal traffic crash in Dodge County.  Dodge County Circuit judge Brian Pfitzinger sentenced 49 year old Robert Underwood to ten years in prison for operating a motor vehicle while suspended causing death and great bodily harm.   Authorities say in September 2017, Underwood was driving with a suspended license when his car crossed the center line on Highway 60 and collided with  a  westbound […]

10-8-20 waupun woman convicted in heroin overdose death of fdl man

A Waupun woman  has been convicted in the heroin overdose death of a Fond  du Lac man.  Cara Zech pleaded no contest to first degree reckless homicide at a hearing in Fond du Lac County Circuit Court.  Zech was accused of helping supply the drugs that led to the death of 23 year old Steven Compton in July of 2018.

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Jacob Blake has been discharged from a hospital in Wisconsin and is now undergoing treatment at an Illinois rehabilitation clinic.
