The Fond du Lac County Clerk is predicting a high voter turnout at the polls in Tuesday’s  presidential election.  Clerk Lisa Freiberg tells WFDL news as of Monday  more than 29,000 Fond du Lac County residents had voted early.  Statewide nearly 1.9 million Wisconsin voters cast their ballots either by mail or in person as of Monday, nearly 42 percent of the voting population and 51 percent of all registered voters.  There are several legislative and congressional races on the ballot. Three Fond du Lac County townships have referendum questions asking if the Clerk should be appointed by the town board and one question asks if the treasurer should be appointed.  The Ripon School District has a half million dollar referendum to update curriculum, technology and building maintenance.
