11-10-20 fatal motorcycle crash-fdl county

An Appleton man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Fond du Lac County.    It happened shortly before 11:30pm Monday on Highway 26 near Rose-Eld Road.   A preliminary investigation shows the motorcycle was northbound on 26 and struck a deer and the motorcycle was then struck by a southbound semi.  The motorcycle operator,  a 37 year old Appleton man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Seattle Mariners center fielder Kyle Lewis is the unanimous winner of the AL Rookie of the Year award, and Milwaukee Brewers reliever Devin Williams has won the NL honor. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin health officials are reporting about 4,000 new COVID-19 infections in the state. The Department of Health Services reported 4,360 new confirmed infections on Monday. That's up from 4,280 on Sunday but still dramatically fewer than the record 7,065 on Saturday. The department reported the disease was a factor in 17 more deaths. There was another COVID-19 death in Fond du Lac County over the weekend, bringing to 28 the total number of COVID-19 deaths in Fond du Lac County.   Since Friday afternoon there have been 383 positive COVID cases in Fond du Lac County.   There are now 6,371 positive cases in the county.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Five counties in Wisconsin have completed their canvassing of last week’s election results, but all 72 must be in before President Donald Trump could call for a recount.
