11-9-20 wisconsin officials offer water quality standards for pfas

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin health officials have put together groundwater quality standards for a dozen man-made chemicals known as PFAS. The Department of Natural Resources asked the Department of Health Services last year to recommend limits on 40 substances as the starting point for an administrative rule establishing restrictions. 11-6-20 two more covid-19 deaths in fdl county

Two more Fond du Lac County residents have died from COVID-19.  There are now 26 Fond du Lac County residents who have died from the virus since the start of the pandemic.   Wednesday the  Health Department reported a Fond du Lac man in his 70s had died from COVID-19.  Meanwhile, there were 97 new positive cases confirmed in the county bringing to 5,744 the total number of positive cases.  Forty people are hospitalized in Fond […]

11-6-20 covid cases continue to surge in wi

Wisconsin health officials are reporting nearly 6,000 more COVID-19 cases in the state.  The Department of Health Services reported an additional 5,922 confirmed cases Thursday, just 17 caes shy of the daily record of 5,935 cases set Wednesday.  The department reported another 38 COVID deaths.  The state has now seen 249,924 cases and 2,194 deaths since the pandemic began in March.
