11-5-20 drive-thru covid-19 testing

For the second time in two weeks a drive-thru COVID-19 testing site at the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds had to close early because of demand.   Cars lined Martin Avenue last Thursday when the site opened at 11am.  Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says the site is scheduled to be open until 7pm, but for a second week in a row ran out of test kits by 2:30pm.  Mueller says the Health […]

11-5-20 record voter turnout in fdl county

A huge voter turnout in Fond  du Lac  County this week.  County Clerk Lisa Freiberg says 93 percent of registered voters cast ballots both absentee and then in-person on Tuesday.  Freiberg says more than 29,000 people voted absentee and nearly the same number voted in person.    She says while poll workers were able to process absentee ballots during the day on election day it would have been nice to be able to do that […]
