Voters in Wisconsin made their pick for president while holding negative views about the country’s direction. That’s according to AP VoteCast, a survey of the American electorate from The Associated Press. The poll found the coronavirus pandemic was top of mind for voters, with 46% calling it the most important issue facing the nation.

Another COVID-19 death has been reported in Fond du Lac County.  There are now 23 COVID-19 deaths in the County.  Since Friday afternoon there have been 431 new positive cases confirmed in the county bringing to 5,383 the total number of cases in the county.   Wisconsin has recorded another 3,433 coronavirus cases and three more deaths, continuing a COVID-19 surge that began in early September. The Fond du Lac County Clerk is predicting a high voter turnout at the polls in Tuesday’s  presidential election.  Clerk Lisa Freiberg tells WFDL news as of Monday  more than 29,000 Fond du Lac County residents had voted early.  Statewide nearly 1.9 million Wisconsin voters cast their ballots either by mail or in person as of Monday, nearly 42 percent of the voting population and 51 percent of all registered voters.  There are […]

A court commissioner has set cash bail for an Illinois 17-year-old accused of killing two people during a protest in Wisconsin at $2 million. Kyle Rittenhosue, of Antioch, Illinois, faces multiple charges in the shootings in Kenosha in August. Rittenhouse made his initial court appearance in Kenosha on Monday. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A new report finds that outside groups have spent more than $8.2 million to influence Wisconsin's legislative races.
