Starting this week  the Fond du Lac County Public Health Office is offering free Radon Test kits.  Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says while supplies last the Health Department is offering a free radon test kit in exchange for a non-perishable food item that will be distributed to the local food pantry.  Mueller says the only way to know if you have safe levels of radon inside your home is by testing.  […]

11-3-20 new report finds outside groups spent more than $8 million on wisconsin legislative races

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A new report finds that outside groups have spent more than $8.2 million to influence Wisconsin's legislative races. Government watchdog group Wisconsin Democracy Campaign released a report Monday that found spending by Democratic-leaning express advocacy groups totaled more than $5.3 million as of Monday morning. 11-2-20 lost hikers rescued near mauthe lake

Four hikers from Illinois were rescued after getting lost in the Kettle Moraine State Forest  near Mauthe Lake Sunday.  The group started hiking the Ice Age trail in Washington County  became lost north of Youth Camp Road in Fond du Lac County.  They were  found by a Mauthe Lake DNR ranger.   The hikers were cold and wet but uninjured.

11-2-20 fatal crash in dodge county

A Reeseville man was killed in a one vehicle crash in Dodge County.  It happened about 10:30pm Sunday on Highway G south of Crestview Drive.  The SUV was north on G,  failed to negotiate a curve, entered a ditch striking a driveway culvert.  The driver was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

11-2-20 campbellsport woman seriously injured after falling off trailer being towed by utv

A Campbellsport woman was seriously injured when she fell off a trailer being towed by a UTV over the weekend.  The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office says the 32 year old woman struck her head on the roadway of Trail Vu Court and was flown by helicopter to Froedert Hospital where she was listed in stable condition.   Investigators say the woman and the UTV operator, a 38 year old Campbellsport man,  were […]
