The Dodge County Sheriff says new cameras installed at a Beaver Dam park helped solve a  vandalism incident.  Last Wednesday night  a citizen viewing the Rotary Lights at Swan Park saw that the door to the Gingerbread House had been kicked in and the doorknob was broken.  After reviewing video footage, the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office was able to identify two juvenile suspects and obtain a confession.  The camera system was installed this  year […]

Republican congressman Glenn Grothman says he is pleased that infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci is recommending people take vitamin D supplements to lessen your susceptibility to infection, including the possibility of the coronavirus.  Grothman says studies from Northwestern University and Trinity College in Dublin,  Ireland, have shown that vitamin D deficiency may play a role in increasing the severity of symptoms and overall mortality rate in COVID-19 patients.

Republican U.S. Senator Ron Johnson says he could support a bipartisan coronavirus economic stimulus package if it has certain spending controls.   Optimism was growing for a COVID relief bill after additional rank and file lawmakers voiced support for a bipartisan, middle of the road plan taking shape in the senate.   Johnson says the best thing to do would be to pair COVID relief with a massive omnibus spending bill.
