12-24-20 milwaukee county spent nearly $1.7 million on trump recount

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Newly released figures show that the presidential recount in Wisconsin’s Milwaukee County came in slightly under budget, at nearly $1.7 million. 12-24-20 local unemployment rate drops

The local unemployment rate is down in the latest reporting period.  The Dodge County jobless rate fell three tenths of a percent to 3.7 percent in November.   The Fond du Lac County unemployment rate stands at 3.6 percent, down from 3.9 percent in October. The city of Fond du Lac’s unemployment rate in November is four percent,  down from 4.4 percent the month before.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Gov. Tony Evers has scheduled a special election this spring to fill outgoing Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald's seat.  Evers announced Tuesday that the special election will be held on April 6 in southeastern Wisconsin's 13th Senate District. 12-23-20 dane county spent nearly 730k on recount

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — One of two Wisconsin counties that conducted recounts of their presidential votes spent nearly $730,000 on the effort. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin officials have partnered with a medical testing company to provide free at-home COVID-19 tests as the state set a new record for disease-related deaths. Gov.
