The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office is joining law enforcement agencies across the state in participating the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign. A week before Christmas and Fond du Lac County has it’s highest one day total for the number of deaths due to COVID-19. The Fond du Lac County Health Department reported six COVID deaths Friday, bringing to 64 the total number of deaths in the county. There are 9,841 cases after 71 new cases were confirmed Friday.

MILWAUKEE (AP) — A Wisconsin dentist is accused of damaging his patients’ teeth so that he could bill insurance companies for crown procedures. A federal indictment charges 60-year-old Scott Charmoli, of Grafton, of multiple counts of health care fraud and false statements.
