Nobody was injured in a fire that damaged a kitchen in a North Fond du Lac residence. Firefighters were called to the scene on Broadway Street near Thurke Avenue early Sunday morning to find smoke visible and located a fire in the kitchen. According to a press release the fire caused extensive damage to the kitchen and heat and smoke damage to the rest of the home.
JUNEAU, Wis. (AP) — A former sheriff’s deputy accused of breaking into the houses of people attending funerals and homes of coworkers has been sentenced in Dodge County to two years in prison.
