1-8-21 dodge county fatal crash victim identified

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim of a fatal two vehicle crash Tuesday.  The Sheriff’s Office says 17 year old Wilhelm Rist of Randolph died from injuries at a hospital after his car collided with a truck on Highway 73,  north of  Highway D in the town of Calamus.

A Fond du Lac man charged with homicide as a hate crime because prosecutors say he intentionally crashed his pickup truck into a white motorcyclist has been committed to a psychiatric facility. 1-7-20 wisconsin coronavirus death toll tops 5,000

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin surpassed 5,000 deaths from COVID-19, as the total number of cases neared half a million. The state Department of Health Services reported 60 additional deaths on Wednesday, bringing the total to 5,039. There have been nearly 495,000 positive cases to date.
