1-25-21 fire destroys detached garage in fdl county

Nobody was injured in a fire that destroyed a garage at a town of Oakfield residence over the weekend.     The fire late Saturday night at the Brian and Michele Wix home on Mill Pond Road destroyed the detached garage and its contents including several vehicles and a skid steer.   The cause of the fire remains under investigation but is not considered suspicious.

A former North Fond du Lac Fire Chief has been arrested in Texas on child pornography charges.  Fifty four year old Paul Nelson is being held in jail in Port Neches, Texas, on $25,000 bail on two counts of Possession of Child pornography.
