2-16-21 nfdl schools closer to full in-person instruction

North Fond du Lac Schools are getting closer to returning to full in-person instruction.  Superintendent Aaron Sadoff says starting Tuesday elementary schools will  be in-class four days a week, with middle and high school students going back four days a week March 1.  Sadoff says the entire district will be full in-person instruction March 15.

The top six vote getters in Tuesday's primary election will advance to the April  election in the race for Fond du Lac School Board.  Four challengers are running against  incumbent  School Board members  Linda Uselmann, and Susan Jones  and Antonio Godfrey,  who was appointed to fill a vacancy on the board last year.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — A Wisconsin man is on trial for allegedly killing his wife, who went missing in 2013 and whose body has never been found. Opening statements began Monday in Green Bay in the case of James Prokopovitz. His wife, Victoria, disappeared about eight years ago. Propkopovitz is charged with murder and other counts. 2-16-21 fatal fdl county snowmobile crash-the latest

The DNR  has identified the victim of a fatal snowmobile crash in Fond du Lac County.  A DNR spokesman says 25 year old Jacob Zielicki of Lomira died when the snowmobile he was operating left a trail and struck a tree.  The crash happened Saturday afternoon on a trail near Sunny Knoll and Dixon Roads north of Brandon.  The victim was alone at the time of the crash and the investigation is ongoing.
