2-15-21 fire destroys garage in fdl

Nobody was injured in a fire that destroyed a garage in Fond du lac Friday afternoon.  Shortly after 2pm firefighters were called to a report of a garage fire on East 12th Street between Marr and Main Streets.   Fire chief Pete O’Leary says power lines in the area made it difficult for crews, and Alliant Energy had to cut power  to the home.  The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

2-15-21 three fdl county residents charged in sturgeon caviar investigation

Prosecutors have charged three Fond du Lac County residents as part of an investigation into allegations that people around Lake Winnebago have been illegally processing sturgeon eggs into caviar. 2-12-21 vaccination clinic at fdl county fairgrounds for seniors

This Friday will be the final mass vaccination clinic at the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds for Fond du Lac County seniors age 65 and older.  Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says individuals who have been on a waiting list will receive the COVID-19 vaccine at the clinic.  Mueller says people age 65 and older can also receive the vaccine through their health care provider.  Meanwhile, Wisconsin now leads the nation in the […]

2-12-21 wi pharmacies receiving vaccine under federal program

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Nearly 200 Walgreens pharmacies across Wisconsin are expecting to receive coronavirus vaccines directly from the federal government starting this week. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services on Thursday announced the beginning of the program that targets underserved areas.
