2-26-21 in-class instruction going well in fdl school district

Fond du Lac School District students are in class five days a week for the second full week this week as COVID-19 cases continue to decline across the county.   Interim superintendent Sharon Simon says so far, so good.  Simon says most students and staff are excited to be back in class five days a week.  She says the district continues with mitigation strategies of masking, hand washing, and social distancing when possibile.    The […]

2-26-21 republican senator feyen says governor’s budget spends too much money

Republican state senator Dan Feyen says the governor’s proposed budget spends too much money during the pandemic.  Feyen says while there are some things in the budget he likes, he’s concerned the budget raises taxes by over a billion dollars.  Feyen says he does support the governor’s proposed investment in expanding broadband and mental health services.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Teachers at Wisconsin schools with a higher percentage of students at risk for catching the coronavirus will be prioritized for vaccinations when they become eligible next week. MOUNT PLEASANT, Wis. (AP) — Foxconn Technology Group says it has signed a deal with a California startup to build electric cars, conceivably at Foxconn’s facilities in Wisconsin. Details of the agreement with electric car company Fisker are expected in the coming months. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin Hunters and trappers have exceeded the state's wolf kill target by almost 100 animals.
