MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin’s COVID-19 vaccination rate increased relative to other states over the past week and demand continues to far exceed supply. 2-3-21 high school basketball referee dies after collapsing on the court

RICHLAND CENTER, Wis. (AP) — A high school basketball referee in Wisconsin has died after collapsing on court during a game. Tracy Krueger was stricken while officiating a game between Richland Center and Mt. Horeb on Monday night. He received immediate attention on the court and was taken to a hospital, where he died that night. The game did not resume after he collapsed. Tracy Krueger was 69 years old.

Wisconsin does not do well in the latest American Lung Association State of Tobacco Control Report.   Wisconsin received F grades in funding for state tobacco prevention programs, coverage and access to tobacco quit services and ending the sale of flavored tobacco products.  The state received a D grade for tobacco taxes.  The only area where the state did well was in the strength of it’s smokefree workplace laws where it received an A grade.  American […]

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A national hunting group is suing to force an immediate start to Wisconsin's wolf season. Kansas-based Hunter Nation Inc. filed the suit Tuesday in Jefferson County Circuit Court in Wisconsin. The group is seeking an order forcing the state Department of Natural Resources to start the season immediately. Firefighters quickly extinguished a fire after bales of straw in a dump truck caught on fire in Waupun.   Waupun Fire Chief B.J. 2-2-21 garage-house destroyed by fire in fdl county
