MADISON, Wis. (AP) — With opioid overdoses setting records in 2020, an effort is underway to install boxes in public that would make a frequently used rescue medication available in case of emergency. A group called Wisconsin Voices for Recovery is working with Milwaukee-based pharmacy Serve You Rx to install naloxone boxes around the state. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin wildlife officials have opened a wolf season after hunting advocates sued to move the start date up from November amid fears that the Biden administration might restore protections for the animals. JANESVILLE, Wis. (AP) — The Rock County Medical Examiner’s Office has released the names of the two victims who died in a plane crash earlier this week near Janesville. 2-22-21 spike in covid-19 cases at uw-madison

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The University of Wisconsin-Madison has warned of a recent spike in COVID-19 cases. The university health services email came Friday, a day after a more contagious variant was detected in the county. 2-22-21 two more covid-19 deaths in fdl county

Two more COVID-19 deaths have been reported in Fond du Lac County.  There have now been 87 deaths related to the virus since the start of the pandemic.  There were 16 new positive cases Friday, bringing to 11,734, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Fond du Lac County.

The Fond du Lac Area United Way is encouraging residents to consider My Free Taxes when you file your taxes this year.  Executive director Amber Kilawee says it’s simple, and a free service.  Kilawee says you can find out more by logging on to the Fond du lac Area United Way website.   She says you can file your taxes in less than an hour.
