A Fond du Lac man who apparently overdosed on heroin was revived with the help of Fond du Lac police officers and North Fond du Lac paramedics.   As Fond du Lac firefighters were battling a residential fire Monday night a call came in of a man who was not breathing at a residence in the area of 13th  and Ellis Streets.  Fire Chief Pete O’Leary says North Fond du Lac ambulance was called to assist and Fond du Lac police officers were first to arrive on the scene performing CPR until paramedics arrived.  O’Leary says officers did CPR for almost ten minutes, and when paramedics arrived, the victim was revived with Narcan and transported to the hospital.   O’Leary says it’s a perfect example of the different agencies working as a team.
