3-4-21 fdl fire cause remains under investigation

The cause of a fire that caused significant damage to a Fond du Lac home this week remains under investigation.   Fire Chief Pete O’leary says at this point there does not appear to be anything suspicious.  Nobody was injured in the fire at the corner of Fourth Street and South Park Avenue.   O’Leary says when firefighters arrived on the scene there was smoke and flames visible.  O’Leary says the smoke alarms inside the house were working and three people inside were able to safely evacuate.
