3-25-21 interim fdl superintendent: no spread of covid-19 in schools since district went to in-class instruction

todayMarch 24, 2021

The interim Fond du Lac school superintendent says there has not been any spread of COVID1-9 in schools since the district went to full in-class instruction a little more than a month ago.   Interim superintendent Sharon Simon says a staff member hasn’t tested positive since February and in the last two weeks, three students have tested positive,  resulting in 49 students being quarantined.   Simon says new CDC guidelines say social distancing in schools can be at three feet as long as masks are being worn.  Simon adds that as of March 18, every staff member in the school district who wanted a vaccine was able to get one.
