The Department of Public Works says CTH K just north of STH 23. The street will be  closed on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 7:00 AM and is planned to reopen at 6:00 PM that same day, barring any complications with construction. The closure will allow a water utility contractor to install a water main across CTH K. There will be no signed detour.

3-12-21 wisconsin greatly expands coronavirus vaccine eligibility

(AP) — Wisconsin is greatly expanding who is eligible for the coronavirus vaccine starting March 29 to include people with a broad array pre-existing conditions such as obesity, high blood pressure, cancer and asthma. 3-12-21 wisconsin unemployment rate drops

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin’s unemployment rate dropped to 3.8% in January from 4% in December, nearly reaching levels not seen since before the coronavirus pandemic. The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development reported the latest numbers on Thursday. The state rate is below the national unemployment rate for January of 6.3%. Michels Corporation of Brownsville is backing a solar array in Fond du Lac County by becoming an anchor tenant for the project.   Alliant Energy’s 1-megawatt community solar project allows utility customers to buy part of the solar project in exchange for a credit on their monthly electric bills,  saving money as long as the array remains in use.  The company says it is the first of  it’s kind in the state.  Michels Corp. is […]
