Nobody was injured in a fire that destroyed a pole shed in the village of Eden. Shortly after 9pm Thursday firefighters from several departments were called to 318 Fond du Lac Avenue to battle the fire. The shed was owned by Guelig Waste Removal and was used to house wood chippings and miscellaneous machinery.

The head of a pro-wolf group says the DNR should have halted a wolf hunt last week earlier to prevent hunters from exceeding the state kill target.
