3-5-21 firefighters battle pole shed fire in eden

Nobody was injured in a fire that destroyed a pole shed in the village of Eden.  Shortly after 9pm Thursday firefighters from several departments were called to 318 Fond du Lac Avenue to battle the fire.  The shed was owned by  Guelig Waste Removal  and was used to house wood chippings and miscellaneous machinery.

The North Fond du Lac School superintendent says teachers in the North Fond du Lac school district are ready to get vaccinated.   The Fond du Lac County Health Department is holding the first mass vaccination clinic for teachers Friday.  Aaron Sadoff says 1000 vaccines will be administered to teachers throughout Fond du Lac County.  Sadoff says 75 percent of North Fond du Lac School District staff are signed up to get vaccinated.  […]

3-5-21 uw system orders audit into uw-madison bidding process

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The University of Wisconsin System has ordered auditors to review how UW-Madison handled bids on a project to streamline the school's administration. The Wisconsin State Journal reported Thursday that one of the companies not selected for the contract requested an investigation. A Mayville man who had difficulty parallel parking has been convicted of repeat drunken driving.   Fifty six year old Gregory Cundy was convicted of OWI Seventh Offense and Obstructing an Officer.   In July of 2019 police received a call that a car trying to parallel park collided with a vehicle behind it and then sped away.   After receiving tips from the public officers arrested Cundy at his Mayville home.  He faces a maximum sentence of […]

3-5-21 dodge county sheriff’s office cracking down on illegal drug activity in mobile home park

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is cracking down on illegal drug activity in a town of Beaver Dam mobile home park.  Sheriff Dale Schmidt says  last Friday night the County’s Drug Enforcement Unit executed two search warrants at separate residences in the North Hills Mobile Home Park.  Schmidt says the warrants were a result of an extensive investigation into multiple subjects in the park who have been involved with drug dealing in the […]
