Fond  du Lac Public Works is warning motorists about a street closure this week.  East  Merrill Avenue between Park Avenue and Algoma Street will be closed beginning Monday,  and remain closed until end of day Friday, April 2.  The closure will be in place to allow for utility repairs and pavement restoration.

3-29-21 highway 45 maintenance project starts monday

Highway 45 north of Fond du Lac will close this week for a culvert replacement project.  Starting Monday Highway 45 will be closed between Scott Street and the Winnebago County line.   The road maintenance project will include replacing two failing culverts.  The project is expected to be completed by the end of the day Friday.  There will be signed detours, but access will be maintained to businesses and residences, except […]

3-29-21 fdl man charged in drug overdose death bound over for trial

A Fond du Lac man charged in the drug overdose death of a woman has been bound over for trial.  Thirty five year old Christopher Hoerth is charged with first degree reckless homicide and felony bail jumping.  He is accused of supplying fentanyl that led to the death of  a woman in North Fond du Lac last May.
