3-24-21 envision greater fdl supports public safety referendum

The Envision Greater Fond du Lac Board of directors is on record in support of the Public Safety Referendum.   The April referendum would add six new police officers and six new firefighter/paramedics.  Envision president Sadie Parafiniuk says both fire and police have not had staff increases over the past several years despite seeing calls for service increase during that same time.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin legislators claimed more than $555,000 for traveling to and working in Madison in 2020, even though they never convened for a floor session during the last eight months of a year marked by the coronavirus pandemic. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Chippewa tribal officials in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan are blasting the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources for allowing state-licensed wolf hunters to blow past their quota in just four days last month. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Gov. Tony Evers has signed a bill that allows dentists to administer COVID-19 vaccinations. Evers announced he had signed the bill on Monday morning, the same day that nearly 2 million more people with preexisting conditions became eligible for immunization.
