MILWAUKEE (AP) — Authorities say a QAnon supporter arrested Friday for allegedly firing paintball rounds at two reservists in a Milwaukee suburb recently traveled to Washington, D.C. and promised violence there. MILWAUKEE (AP) — Wisconsin authorities are warning residents about weather conditions after more than 30 wildfires were reported throughout the state in the last day. Much of the state is under a burn ban due to forecasts of low relative humidity, gusty south winds and above normal temperatures. Fond du Lac firefighters quickly extinguished a fire on the roof of a Fond du Lac house Saturday afternoon apparently started by an illegal firework before it caused significant damage.  The resident saw smoke coming from the roof of the house at 479 West Scott Street and dialed 911.  The resident told investigators they believe people were shooting off fireworks, and that started the fire.  Police checked the area and did not […]

The Fond du Lac Lighthouse at Lakeside Park is undergoing maintenance to repair deteriorating siding boards.   The damage was discovered by park staff during a routine inspection of the Lighthouse.   A city park crew will begin to replace the boards that have deteriorated starting on Monday. The boards will be replaced with like material,  not affecting the historical significance of the Lighthouse.
