4-5-21 everyone age 16 and older eligible for vaccine

Beginning Monday everyone age 16 and older can get a COVID-19 vaccine.  Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says she thinks there are a number of reasons the state is opening up the vaccine to everyone earlier than anticipated. Mueller says there may have been pressure because many states around us are already offering the vaccine to everyone.  Mueller says the key will be getting enough vaccine doses, which she says we currently don’t have.  Mueller says every Thursday people can click on a link at the Health Department’s website to sign up to be vaccinated.  Mueller says from here on out the vaccine will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis.
