MILWAUKEE (AP) — A group of small Wisconsin newspapers have filed a federal lawsuit claiming Google and Facebook's control of digital advertising threatens the publications' existence and violates antitrust law. 4-21-20 vaccination clinic st. cloud

The Fond du Lac County Public Health Department is holding another vaccination Clinic this week.   Environmental Health supervisor Danielle Vollendorf says a clinic will be held from 4pm to 6pm this Wednesday in the St. Cloud area for residents 18 and older using the Moderna vaccine.  Meanwhile Vollendorf says it’s great news that 40 percent of state residents have now received at least one COVID-19 shot.

4-21-21 no change in fdl school board race following recount

A recount has been completed  in the race for a third seat on the Fond du Lac School Board and there was no change in the outcome.     Joe Guyette requested the recount after losing to incumbent Susan Jones in the spring election by 17 votes.  The taxpayer funded recount was conducted by hand starting Monday, concluding Tuesday afternoon,  and there were no changes in the vote totals.

4-20-21 kingston man arrested in waupun after stealing vehicle in green lake county

A Kingston man  is in custody following a high speed chase involving a stolen vehicle that ended with a high risk stop in Waupun.  Waupun deputy police chief Jeremy Rasch says the vehicle had been reported stolen in Green Lake County and was involved in a high speed chase.  The vehicle was located in a gas station parking lot and Rasch says officers  negotiated with the subject for about an hour before he voluntarily […]
