4-16-21 recount-fdl school board race

There will be a recount in the Fond du lac School Board race.  Joe Guyette is asking for a recount after losing by 17 votes to incumbent Susan Jones for the  third seat on the school board.  Incumbent Linda Uselmann and challenger Mark Henschel were the top vote getters in last week’s election.  The recount, paid for by school district taxpayers will be held Monday.

4-16-21 wisconsin unemployment rate holds steady

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A new report shows Wisconsin's unemployment rate held steady at 3.8% in March, far below the national rate of 6%. The state Department of Workforce Development released a report Thursday that found the state added 12,900 total non-farm and 11,100 private-sector jobs from February to March.
