4-22-21 authorities say retired watertown police officer shot and killed his son before killing himself

WATERTOWN, Wis. (AP) — Authorities say a retired Watertown police officer killed his teenage son and then took his own life. Watertown police say they were called to check on the welfare of Douglas Teuteberg Friday. 4-22-21 local unemployment rate down slightly

The local unemployment rate was down slightly last month.  The jobless rate dipped a tenth of a percent to 4.3 percent in Dodge County and 4.1 percent in Fond  du Lac County.  The city of Fond du Lac’s March unemployment rate was 4.2 percent, down from 4.4 percent in February.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A new audit shows the performance of Wisconsin's economic development agency is improving but still lacking. The Legislative Audit Bureau released its biennial review of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation on Wednesday. The report says WEDC largely complied with state law in fiscal year 2019-20.
