The local unemployment rate was down slightly last month. The jobless rate dipped a tenth of a percent to 4.3 percent in Dodge County and 4.1 percent in Fond du Lac County. The city of Fond du Lac’s March unemployment rate was 4.2 percent, down from 4.4 percent in February.
The Wisconsin Assembly minority leader says he hopes a new deal with Foxconn is more realistic of scale and reduces the burden on taxpayers.
