The Fond du Lac Ethics Board will meet Tuesday afternoon to hear an Ethics complaint. According to city code the meeting will be held in closed session and the subject of the alleged ethics violation is confidential until the board decides whether or not there is a finding of probable cause. If the Board does not take any action, the complaint becomes void after 60 days and the board will issue a formal finding of no probable cause in the matter.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
