A tractor accident in Fond du Lac County Wednesday afternoon has seriously injured a toddler. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office says a two year old girl fell off a tractor after it hit a bump in the road on Hickory Road and the child was struck by the tractor. The child was flown by helicopter to Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee with serious injuries. The 38 year old Fond du Lac woman driving the tractor and another child passenger were not injured.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
