RACINE, Wis. (AP) — A Wisconsin man accused of sex crimes ranging from assault to possession of child pornography has pleaded not guilty to 84 charges. Forty-six-year-old Shane Stanger, of Burlington, faces 10 counts of second-degree sexual assault with an unconscious person, 66 counts relating to images or videos that rise to the level of a sex crime, six counts of child pornography and two counts of intimidating a witness. A Rhinelander man has been convicted of sexually assaulting a young girl in Fond du Lac.  Following a trial this week a Fond du Lac jury has found 39 year old Joseph Brewington guilty on three counts of first degree sexual assault of a child, four counts of attempt  child sex assault and soliticting a child for prostitution.   A sentencing hearing will be scheduled.

MISSION VIEJO, Calif. (AP) — The star Milwaukee Braves catcher and former manager Del Crandall has died. Son Bill Crandall says he had Parkinson’s disease and died Wednesday in Mission Viejo, California. Crandall was one of the best defensive catchers of the 1950s and early 1960s before managing the Milwaukee Brewers and Seattle Mariners. A tractor accident in Fond du Lac County Wednesday afternoon has seriously injured a toddler.  The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office says a two year old girl fell off a tractor after it hit a bump in the road on  Hickory Road and the child was struck by the tractor.   The child was flown by helicopter to Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee with serious injuries.  The 38 year old Fond du Lac woman […]
