WASHINGTON (AP) — Scientists found that an unconventional way of reducing the frequency of deer-auto collisions could be allowing wolves to roam a landscape. Because wolves prey on deer and also shift deer behavior, they make crashes about 24% less common. The Fond du Lac School District is recommending that Kate O’Hara Pogorelec be hired as the Sabish Middle School principal starting next school year. O’Hara Pogorelec has been serving as the Interim Principal for the school since July of 2020 when Stacey Buchholz was hired as Interim Director of Human Resources. Fond du Lac County continues to trend in the right direction when it comes to new positive COVID-19 cases and deaths. After 13 new positive cases were reported over the weekend there were only four new COVID-19 cases reported on Monday. A Campbellsport man has been arrested for OWI with a child passenger. The Wisconsin State Patrol says 28 year old Adam Konstanski was arrested last week for OWI first offense with one child in the vehicle under the age of 16.
