MILWAUKEE (AP) — The Milwaukee Brewers have acquired shortstop Willy Adames and pitcher Trevor Richards from the Tampa Bay Rays for relievers J.P Feyereisen and Drew Rasmussen. Adames is hitting .197 with five homers and 15 RBIs in 41 games. The 28-year-old Richards has a 4.50 ERA and one save in six relief appearances. 5-22-21 halloween killer motion to dismiss case denied

A Fond du Lac judge has denied a motion to dismiss a case to determine if  the so-called Halloween killer Gerald Turner will be released or committed to a mental health facility.  Attorneys for Turner argued that Turner does not meet the legal definition of a sexually violent person.   The prosecuting attorney argued Turner was convicted of crimes deemed sexually violent.   Judge Paul Czisny denied the motion.  Turner was convicted of raping and murdering […]
