6-7-21 body pulled from fdl river

Fond du Lac police are investigating the death of a Fond du Lac man who was found in the Fond du Lac River.   Shortly before 7pm Friday police and rescue personnel  were called to the area of the Fond du Lac River underneath the 9 th Street Bridge for a report of a body found in the river. The victim was pulled from the river by first responders and pronounced dead at the scene by the Fond du Lac County Medical Examiner’s Office. The body was positively identified as a 37 year old Fond du Lac man who had been reported missing the day before. The preliminary investigation indicates no obvious signs of foul play. An autopsy will be conducted by the Fond du Lac County Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the cause of death.
