A Madison man has been sentenced in Dodge County to prison for possession with intent to deliver amphetamine. Dodge County Circuit judge Kristine Snow sentenced 41 year old Ryan Murray to three years in prison and five years of extended supervision. Murray was arrested last August following a traffic stop in Beaver Dam.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
