The Fond du Lac School District Summer School program is underway starting this week. Interim superintendent Sharon Simon says more than 11 hundred students and 135 teachers are participating in the program that runs through July 2. Some students are catching up after almost a year of online learning during the pandemic.

Nobody was injured in a fire that damaged a downtown Fond du Lac business. Shortly before 8am Thursday Fond du Lac firefighters were called to The Smoke Shop on South Main Street for a report of a fire. Fire Chief Pete O’Leary says the fire was quickly extinguished.
