6-17-21 fdl county getting more state assistance for pandemic

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Republican William Penterman holds a slight lead in a special election primary for the right to run for an open state Assembly seat. 6-17-21 fdl county sheriff’s drone has become invaluable resource

For the second time in a couple of weeks a suspect has been captured with the help of the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office drone.   A driver involved in an alcohol-related crash in the town of Auburn fled into a wooded area.   Sheriff’s captain, Bill Tadych, says with the help of a drone the suspect was located less than a half mile from the crash scene and taken into custody.  […]

6-17-21 search of fdl river over-fdl police close investigation

Crews have completed their search of the Fond du Lac River after a citzen reported seeing what they thought may have been a human hand in the river.  Sheriff  Ryan Waldschmidt says sonar images identified several items of interest,  all of which were examined further and visually confirmed to be debris.  No human body or body parts were located, and the Fond du Lac Police Department is closing their investigation.  The search focused on […]
