Quality Packaging plans to lease space in the former Shur-Line manufacturing facility in the Milwaukee suburb of  St. Francis bringing up to 250 jobs to the community.  The St. Francis city administrator says Quality Packaging will begin moving equipment to the building in July.  Shur-Line, which makes painting supplies such as brushes and rollers,  announced last summer that it would close its St. Francis operations by the end of the year.  Quality Packaging […]

Thousands of people are gathering in Waupun this weekend for  that community’s  biggest summer tourism  festival.  Celebrate Waupun is being held Friday through Sunday  at Tanner Park.  Waupun Festivals Board president Nick Rusch says it’s great to have the event return after being cancelled last year due to the pandemic.  There’s plenty of music and entertainment for the entire family, capped off by a fireworks show Sunday night.
