MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A state appeals court has refused to put on hold a judge’s ruling that Republican leaders of the Wisconsin Legislature illegally hired private taxpayer-funded attorneys to represent them in anticipation of legal challenges over redistricting. 6-24-21 area unemployment rate drops again

Another drop in the local unemployment rate.   The Dodge County unemployment rate for May is 3.2 percent, down from 3.6 percent in April.   In Fond du Lac  County the jobless rate dipped two tenths of a percent to 3.2 percent.   The May unemployment rate in the city of Fond du lac is 3.6 percent, down from 3.9 percent in April.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin’s seniors were critical of coach Greg Gard during a late-season team meeting that was secretly recorded and sent to a newspaper.
