7-20-21 fdl homicide trial starts this week

Nearly four years after a Fond du Lac man was shot and killed outside a Fond du Lac tavern one of the two men arrested in the killing is on trial this week.  A seven day jury trial for Devon Neuman began Monday in Fond du Lac County Circuit Court.   Neuman is charged with party to the crime of first degree intentional homicide and party to the crime of robbery in the September 2017 shooting death of Logan Foster in a parking lot across the street from the Press Box Tavern.  A second man, Jesse Schultz, is scheduled to go on trial in September.   Schultz and Neuman were identified after police released security camera photographs of two men walking in the area of where Foster’s  body was discovered.  Investigators believe the men attempted to rob  Foster, a physical altercation ensued and Foster was shot twice and killed.
