7-26-21 fdl child sex offenders being released from prison

Fond du Lac police are notifying the public that two convicted child sex offenders are being released from prison.  Daniel Mattson is scheduled to be released Tuesday, and Issac Johnson is scheduled for release August 3.   Mattson served prison time for possession of child pornography. He will be living at 457 Thomas Street in Fond du Lac.  Johnson served time in prison for sexual assault of a child.  He is reporting a homeless status upon […]

7-26-21 wisconsin’s top sturgeon biologist resigns

CHILTON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin’s former top sturgeon biologist has resigned after he was accused of lying to investigators looking into the illegal processing of sturgeon eggs into caviar. Ryan Koenigs earlier pleaded no contest to resisting a conservation warden in Calumet County. He was fined $500 in court Thursday.
