7-21-21 fdl firefighters rescue dog from fdl river

Fond du Lac firefighters helped rescue a dog that somehow ended up in  the fast-moving Fond du Lac River following last week’s heavy rain.  Fire Chief Pete O’Leary says the Department responded to the river last Thursday morning to a report of a dog in the river. The state average price for gasoline in Wisconsin is hovering at $3 a gallon,  but there may be relief in sight.  State AAA spokesman Nick Jarmusz says the price of crude dropped 4 percent last week and  is now trading below $67 per barrel for the first time since early June.  Gasoline prices in Wisconsin have increased a total of 92 cents this year.   The main driver behind the jump at […]
