A bicyclist who was struck by a pickup truck in Dodge County over the weekend has died from his injuries. The crash happened Sunday evening on County Highway AW at the intersection with East Rock River Road. The 88 year old bicycle operator was transported to Waupun Memorial Hospital and then flown by helicopter UW Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. The victim died Monday at UW Hospital.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
